Where were you when everything fell apart
U were there at the beginning there from the very start
Time stood still & my heart shattered
U didn't come thru when it honestly mattered
I cried from the mountain top to the valley below
my voice echoed & to my own ears sounded shallow
I listened to the wind for the faintest reply
Hearing nothing I continued to cry
Rain fell & I grew cold
Too broken to heal
I could only sigh
Where were you when it all went wrong
Why didn't you guide me
If only you had stepped in
Then and only then could the healing begin
